Pine flooring is easy to refinish or customize. You can stain it, paint it or create your own design and if you want a change in a few years, sand it down and start over again.

Our SA Pine Tongue & Groove Flooring has a single V profile with bevelled edges at the bottom and makes a beautiful ceiling when applying it as a loft in double volume rooms.

Installation Guidelines:

Pine Flooring boards should be allowed to acclimatize to equilibrium moisture content before installation. Joist spacing to be no further than 20 times the thickness of the floor boards. (22mm x 20 = 440mm). Oval nails of the correct size should be used to “secret nail” the flooring at each joist at a 45 degree angle. Care should be taken not to damage the edge of the flooring boards. It is important that all joints must be on joists for support. Joints should be cut square. As timber will always expand and retract, it is important to leave gaps around the edges of your room to allow for this movement. The surface should be lightly sanded and then sealed with a good quality interior sealer. Our experienced staff can assist you in choosing the tried and trusted products on the market.
